Honey – Healing without the Sting!
Announcing the launch of a new range of second generation honey wound gels, Melladerm and Melladerm Plus, now available on drug tariff. The new Melladerm range are formulas which offer all the benefits of using medical honey to aid wound healing with the unique advantage that no pain is associated with application of the gel to the wound site.
One of the main drawbacks of using medical honey is that many patients will feel pain when honey is applied and for some patients, pain can be so severe that treatment has to be discontinued.
Melladerm is available in 50g tubes (order code MD50) and Melladerm Plus in 20g and 50g tubes (order codes MDP20 and MDP50) for single patient use.
